Where is Ethical Tours located?

We are based on Main Street in Ballymahon, Co. Longford N39 FY51 -just 3km from Center Parcs. Our tours explore Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands, including the Royal Canal Greenway, Corlea Bog, Shannon Riverside, Newcastle Forest, and nearby areas.

Yes! We offer guided group tours with a knowledgeable local guide, as well as self-guided options for both bike and walking routes using Garmin GPS devices pre-loaded with routes and points of interest.

Absolutely. We have e-mobility scooters for guests with restricted mobility and can tailor routes for all fitness levels. Walking tours are designed to be accessible and can be paced appropriately.

For any tours that include water-based options, all necessary equipment (such as kayaks, life vests, paddles) is provided by our local partner, with full safety briefings and instruction included.

Yes, we provide delivery and collection for bikes and equipment to local accommodations and Center Parcs for your convenience only.

Your safety is our priority. If weather conditions make walking, cycling, or water activities unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule or offer a refund.

Our eBikes usually provide at least 90 km on a single charge, depending on the terrain and level of pedal assistance used—enough to comfortably complete any of our advertised experiences.

There are marked off-road cycleways for all our experiences; however, quieter local roads are also ideal for cycling.

Should you encounter a problem anywhere, we’ll bring you a replacement bicycle so you can continue your journey with minimal interruption.

For insurance reasons, child trailers, tag-alongs, and seats can only be used with our bikes.

Multi-day hire is available (with delivery/collection option). However, you may not transport the bikes by car.
